38).A device for determining the thermal conductivity of materials, including temperature meters mounted on a heater on the opposite surface of the test sample (Osipova VA Experimental study of heat transfer processes, Moscow: "Energy", 1969, p. 38).
The disadvantages of the known device are the low accuracy of determining thermal conductivity due to inaccurate temperature measurements, the inability to control temperatures in the test sample, the inability to control the mechanical compression force of the test sample.
The technical result consists in increasing the accuracy of determining the thermal conductivity of the bases of a power semiconductor device in conditions as close as possible to the operating conditions of power semiconductor devices.
The technical result is achieved by the fact that in the device the temperature meters are placed in two identical copper measuring cylinders mounted relative to each other with a gap between the working end surfaces for the location of the studied heat-conducting base with a diameter equal to the diameter of copper measuring cylinders placed between the electric heater and the water cooler . Thermal insulation is placed on the lateral surfaces of copper cylindrical cylinders.
The height of each copper measuring cylinder is:
Н=(3-4) DH = (3-4) D
где: Н - высота медного измерительного цилиндра, мм;where: N is the height of the copper measuring cylinder, mm;
D is the diameter of the copper measuring cylinder, mm
The purity of processing and the non-flatness of the working end surfaces of the copper measuring cylinders are similar to the working surface of a power semiconductor device. In each copper measuring cylinder, the number of temperature meters must be at least two.
Figure 1 shows the proposed device containing two identical copper measuring cylinders 1 and 2, placed relative to each other with a gap between their working end surfaces for the location of the studied heat-conducting base 3 with a diameter equal to the diameter of the copper measuring cylinders 1 and 2, on the side the surfaces of which are insulated 4. Copper measuring cylinders 1 and 2 are placed between the electric heater 5 and the water cooler 6. In the copper measuring cylinders 1 and 2 are installed from temperature gauges 7 not less than two, for example, in the form of chrome-accumulating thermocouples T 1 ... T 3 and T 4 .. T 6 . The height of each copper measuring cylinder 1 and 2 is equal to:
Н=(3-4) DH = (3-4) D
где: Н - высота медного измерительного цилиндра, мм;where: N is the height of the copper measuring cylinder, mm;
D is the diameter of the copper measuring cylinder, mm
The purity of processing and the non-flatness of the working end surfaces of the copper measuring cylinders 1 and 2 are similar to the working surface of a power semiconductor device. The measuring cylinders 1 and 2 are made of copper having the highest thermal conductivity.
194)The device operates as follows. First of all, the condition is satisfied that the diameter of the investigated heat-conducting base 3 is equal to the diameter of the copper measuring cylinders 1 and 2. The studied heat-conducting base 3 is placed in the gap between the working end surfaces of the copper measuring cylinders 1 and 2. Then, with the help of force F, the copper measuring cylinders 1 and 2 are compressed , for example, using any clamping device, between an electric heater 5 and a water cooler 6. The thermal conductivity of the investigated heat-conducting base 3 is determined by the formula (Osipova V. . Experimental investigation of processes of heat exchange Moscow:. Energy 1969, p.194)

The device works under the condition:
Q=Q1-Q2,Q = Q 1 -Q 2 ,
2.which is provided by thermal insulation of 4 lateral surfaces of copper cylindrical cylinders 1 and 2.
The range of operating temperatures t 3 and t 4 and the compression force F correspond to the same values for a power semiconductor device.
