Utility Model Implementation

An emphasis for a car trunk consists of a support platform (1), an arm (2), on the upper part of which there is a support platform for fixing the trunk arches (3), a decorative and protective panel (4) (see Figure 1). The supporting platform (1) rests on the car roof housing, and the bracket (2) is attached to it so that it forms a hinge mechanism, due to which the bracket is able to rotate around its axis (see Figure 2).

The decorative-protective panel (4) is made in such a way that it can easily be inserted and removed from the bracket (2) (see Figure 3, Figure 4). Using the slide (8), which are included in the guides (9), the mounting strips (5) of the decorative-protective panel (4) go with their ends having latches (6) into the grooves (7) for fixing them. To remove the panel (4) from the bracket (2), just press the latches (6) with your fingers and pull the panel (4) along the guides (9) along the bracket. The panel (4) is inserted in the reverse order, but does not require any fixing actions, which occurs automatically due to latches (6) when pushing the panel (4) until it stops. The principle of using the stop for the roof rack of the car is as follows. First, the stop itself is prepared for installation (see Figure 5). Why from the bracket (2) (Figure 5 (a, b)), then fasten (Figure 5 (c, d)) the cross-members with bolts (10) and nuts (11), and the bracket (2) is inserted into the support platform (1) (Fig. 5 (d, e)). The connection of the parts (1 and 2) is carried out by fixing the part (12) of the hinge mechanism located on the bracket, which when inserted into the socket (13) of the support platform (1) forms a working hinge mechanism. The lower part of the support platform contains a rubber pad (14), which the device is in contact with the surface of the roof of the car.

Universality of an emphasis for many types of cars is reached due to use of an emphasis with a rotating arm and an individual bracket. Each car is individual and for fixing the trunk to the roof, a universal stop is used according to the claimed utility model and an individual-shaped bracket (15) (see Fig. 6), having a bend (16) at the end, which is fixed to the car roof by the tension method. The brackets (16) and the stop are fastened with the help of a fixing bolt (17) and a rectangular nut (18) with the protrusions by which it enters the grooves (19) on the bracket, reinforcing the fasteners. Since the bracket is a cast metal strip, its cost is negligible compared to the cost of the stop. Therefore, the versatility of the stop allows the consumer not to look for an individual stop for his car, but to purchase only an individual bracket.

The cross member (20) is attached to the stop (see Fig. 7) using bolts (10) and nuts (11), after which a decorative stopper (21) is usually put on the end of the cross member.

The decorative-protective panel itself (see Fig. 8) can be made of molded plastic (compression molding). In order to prevent the strips (5) from being accidentally exposed to a kink, spacers (22) are made between their base and the plane of the panel (4).

The supporting platform (1) (see Fig. 9), when docked with the bracket (2), forms a hinge mechanism due to the fact that there are rounded protrusions at the end of the bracket, which, when connecting the elements (1 and 2), enter the docking slots (23) and the fixation of the elements (1 and 2) occurs due to the fact that at least two protrusions of the bracket (preferably along the edges) are of a larger diameter and when they enter the fixing socket (24), they are fastened with clamps (25) that form the axis and prevent disconnecting the parts (1 and 2) of the stop.
