Abstract

Invention herewith described refers to the gravity engine, a hydro-power machine which, by means of fluid, converts the power (energy) from gravity into mechanical work that drives an electric generator and thus receives electric power. The gravity engine consists of the tank body (1) with a stationary drum through which is set up an manoeuvrable band of flexibly interconnected blades (2) vertically half-immersed in the tank (1) filled with appropriate liquid. Lateral inner surfaces of the tank (1) are flat, smooth and parallel and between them is set the moving band of blades (2) with built-in lateral compensation sliding seals (5). Above the stationary drum there is an inlet and beneath the stationary drum there is an outlet of the tank (1), the blade tip (2) at the output continuously abuts against the rubber roller (7) providing easy start of the band with blades (2) and rotation of the rotating drum (8) and disabling the outflow of liquid as shown in the gravity engine assembly drawing. In this way, the difference of potential is used i.e. the difference in hydrostatic pressure values at the outlet from the tank and at the tank (1) inlet which through its actions on the surface of the blades (2) produces the resulting force and torque, actuates the band with blades (2) and rotation of the drum (8) to the shaft of which is connected electric generator or some other consumer of mechanical energy generated by conversion of gravitational energy.
