Inventia se refera la un procedeu de realizare a poscombustiei în convertizoare prin arderea monoxidului de carbon care se degaja în timpul elaborarii. Procedeul consta din dirijarea unor jeturi de oxigen, timp de aproximativ 15...16 min, dupa o perioada de 60...80 s de la începerea insuflarii oxigenului în baia metalica, dupa niste directii închinate la 58 degree fata de orizontala si rotite cu 45 degree . Aceste jeturi de oxigen sunt dirijate la partea superioara a convertizorului, în apropiere de gura acestuia.The invention relates to a process for achieving the combustion in the converters by burning the carbon monoxide which is released during the process.
