Abstract
Covering sheath for electrodes used esp. in building up by welding room parts of coal and butaminous shale grinders, consists of (all wt%): 2-3 graphite, 1.2-2.5 ferrsilicone, 34-45 ferrochrome, 2-3 tungsten, 1-5 ferromolybdenum, 4-6 ferroniobium 14-20 marble, 12-19 fluorine, 1-4 rutile, 0.5-3 mica 0.5-3 talc, 0.5-3 titanium dioxide, 1-2 carboxy-methyl-cellulose and 10-20 sodium-silicate liquid. Owing to the application of this sheath, the deposited metal weld develops into an alloy of C-Cr-Mo-Nb-W type and a deposition of three consecutive welded layers becomes possible.
