An asphalt surfacing for playing-fields contains a homogeneous mixt of : 4-6% asphalt, 20-30% river sand, 25-35% gravel, and 29-51% ground reused microcellular polyester type polyurethane waste material. The surfacing mix is applied at not higher than 180 deg C.
