Inventia se refera la un oscilator cu automixare, cu diode semiconductoare si antena, în tennologia microstrip, pentru frecvente înalte (GHz, zeci GHz), caracterizat prin aceea ca transformarea impedantei de radiatie în impedanta necesara, pentru oscilatie se face cu un singur transformator de impedante realizat sub forma unei linii microstrip de lungime lambda/8-3 lambda/8 terminata în gol la un capat, la celalalt capat al liniei fiind conectat un cip de dioda semiconductoare printr-un fir de conexiune si un filtru de alimentare în curent continuu, cipul de dioda fiind lipit pe un repartitor metalic, ce face contact cu un plan de masa si strabate dielectric gaurit.
