Inventia se refera la un procedeu pentru separarea compusilor acetilenici din fluxurile reziduale de hidrocarburi C indice 4, rezultate la fabricarea butadienei, prin aditia acestora la un alcool sau glicol inferior, în prezenta unei rasini schimbatoare de ioni tratata în conditii bine determinate. Se pot prelucra atît fluxuri în faza lichida cît si vapori.
