Inventia se refera la un procedeu de tratare a tesaturilor din fire de sticla cu politetrafluoretilena, care asigura o aderenta îmbunatatita, printr-o legatura stabila la apa, între stratul de baza din fire de sticla si stratul de acoperire din politetrafluoretilena, prin pretratarea stratului de baza din fire de sticla cu silan cu grupe functionale epoxidice si acoperirea în mai multe straturi cu dispersie apoasa de politetrafluoretilena ce contine o dispersie apoasa de copolimer tetrafluoretilena-hexafluorpropilena. Straturile de acoperire sînt fixate prin sinterizare într-un cuptor tunel cu radiatii infrarosii.The invention relates to a process for treating glass fiber fabrics with polytetrafluoroethylene which provide improved adhesion through a stable water connection between the glass core layer and the polytetrafluoroethylene coating layer by pretreating the layer of a silane glass base with epoxy functional groups and a multilayer coating with a polytetrafluoroethylene aqueous dispersion containing an aqueous dispersion of a tetrafluoroethylene-hexafluoropropylene copolymer. The coating layers are fixed by sintering in a infrared tunnel furnace.
