Blocul iradiator se compune, în principiu, dintr-un recipient de apa grea, scufundat în alt recipient cu apa, ambele rezervoare fiind asezate pe un suport, de asemenea, plin cu apa, în interiorul caruia este amplasat containerul sursei. Sursa poate fi ridicata, cu ajutorul unui electromagnet, din interiorul containerului pîna în centrul recipientului de apa grea, în dreptul caruia patrunde camera de reactie cu probe de determinat.The invention relates to a device for neutron irradiation of some substance samples in order to determine some physico-chemical characteristics. The irradiation block consists, in principle, of a heavy water tank, submerged in another container of water, both tanks being placed on a support also filled with water inside which the container of the source is located.
