Abstract

Inventia se încadreaza în domeniul sistemelor de calcul care folosesc ca memorie externa banda magnetica si asigura optimizarea codificarii informatiei pe acest suport extern. în acest scop, fiecare bit este înregistrat într-o semialternanta a unui semnal sinusoidal cu frecventa diferita pentru 1 si 0 logic, semialternantele avînd amplitudinea proportionale cu frecventele lor, iar la redare un circuit logic compara intervalul de timp între doua treceri prin zero succesive ale semnalului cu intervalele de timp corespunzatoare la înregistrare pentru 1 si 0 logic, rezultatul comparatiei decodificata. Inventia este utilizabila ca interfata între un sistem de calcul destinat achizitiei de date si un periferic cu banda magnetica utilizata ca memorie externa.
