Inventia se refera la un procedeu pentru obtinerea alcoolilor alifatici saturati prin halogenarea catalitica în faza de gaz/lichid/solid a aldehidelor superioare C8 si +c8 pe un catalizator continand 15% nichel, cupru, mangan, pentoxid de fosfor/silice prin procedeul coprecipitarii constand în aceea ca, în scopul cresterii factorului de eficacitate a catalizatorului si a productivitatii acestuia, se utilizeaza 5... 25% aldehide inferioare c1--c4 sau cetone inferioare c2..c4, fata de amestecul de reactanti.
