Inventia se refera la un procedeu pentru prepararea unor derivati de 5-hidroxi-3,4-dihidro-2H-benzopiran cu formula generala I: (vezi formula) în care R1 si R2 reprezinta fiecare, separat, hidrogen sau metil, caracterizat prin aceea ca un compus cu formula generala II:(vezi formula) în care R1 si R2 au semnificatiile de mai sus iar R3 reprezinta hidrogen, metil sau etil, se reduce cu hidrura de litiu aluminiu în conditii de reactie anhidre si în prezenta unui solvent inert ales dintre eter etilic, tetrahidrofuran, 1,2-dimetoxietan, dietilenglicol, dimetileter, la o temperatura cuprinsa între 0...30 degree C, dupa care se adauga acetat de etil pentru îndeparatrea excesului de agent reducator si produsul obtinut se izoleaza prin metode cunoscute.The invention relates to a process for the preparation of 5-hydroxy-3,4-dihydro-2H-benzopyran derivatives of the general formula I wherein R1 and R2 each independently represent hydrogen or methyl, characterized in that as a compound of general formula II wherein R1 and R2 are as defined above and R3 represents hydrogen, methyl or ethyl is reduced with lithium aluminum hydride under anhydrous reaction conditions and in the presence of an inert solvent chosen of ethyl ether, tetrahydrofuran, 1,2-dimethoxyethane, diethylene glycol, dimethylether at a temperature in the range of 0-30 ° C, then ethyl acetate is added to remove the excess reducing agent and the product obtained is isolated by known methods .
