Inventia se refera la un procedeu de obtinere a polietilenei de înalta presiune, în care initiatorii se introduc în proces sub forma de solutie într-o fractie de hidrocarburi n-parafinice cu 1...17 atomi de carbon cu interval de distilare 217...242 degree C sau într-o fractie de hidrocarburi n-parafinice cu 9...12 atomi de carbon cu interval de distilare 98...214 degree C, obtinute ca produse secundare la fabricarea n-parafinelor pentru detergenti sau bioproteine, solventul fiind utilizat singur sau în amestec cu maximum 50% ulei alb usor.
