Inventia se refera la un procedeu de obtinere a acetatului de amidon, conform caruia, în scopul micsorarii timpului de reactie esterificarea grupelor hidroxil din molecula amidonului se efectueaza în alcool izopropilic sau metilic în raport de greutate fata de anhidra acetica de 15:1, în mediu slab bazic, la temperatura de 45-50 degree C, sub agitare mecanica, produsul finit purificandu-se prin spalare cu alcool izopropilic si apa demineralizata în raport în greutate de circa 3:2.The invention relates to a process for obtaining starch acetate according to which, in order to reduce the reaction time, the esterification of the hydroxyl groups in the starch molecule is carried out in isopropyl or methyl alcohol in a ratio of 15: 1 to 15: 1 anhydrous slightly basic at 45-50 ° C, with mechanical stirring, the final product being purified by washing with isopropyl alcohol and demineralised water in a weight ratio of about 3: 2.
