Inventia se refera la un complex de crom pentru retanarea pieilor, caracterizat prin aceea ca se obtine din materiale refolosibile tabacite prin hidroliza în mediu alcalin complexul de crom continand acizi alifatici si aromatici precum si polipeptide rezultate prin hidroliza colagenului din pielea tabacita. Complexul de crom se poate utiliza atît la recromarea cît si la retanarea pieilor pentru fete de încaltaminte.
