Abstract

Metalul lichid, în interiorul creuzetului, este mentinut la o anumita înaltime si la o temperatura corespunzatoare pentru a fi dirijat pe suprafata de turnare care este racita si care plasarea uniforma fata de orificiul duzei prin care trece metalul lichid.The invention relates to a plant for continuous casting of metal strips consisting of a crucible, from which the liquid metal flows on a cooling surface, making some strips of crystalline or amorphous structure having a surface without defects and constant dimensions all over width. The liquid metal inside the crucible is maintained at a certain height and at a suitable temperature for directing to the casting surface being cooled and uniformly spaced from the nozzle through which the liquid metal passes.
