Inventia se refera la o metoda si o instalatie avînd drept scop functionarea selectiva a unor consumatori electrici monofazati recordati la aceeasi retea monofazata de alimentare consumatorii fiind racordati la retea monofazata de alimentare consumatorii fiind racordati la retea direct sau printr-un contact normal închis sau normal deschis al unor relee de comparatie a semialternantelor tensiunii de alimentare aceste relee conectînd sau deconectînd de la reteaua de alimentare consumatorii aferenti sub actiunea unor comenzi de scurta durata care constau în reducerea semialternantei de un semn în raport cu semialternanta de celalalt semn a tensiunii de alimentare.
