Sticle transparente colorate în galben sau rosu constituite din 50...65% SiO2, 3...7% B2O3, 0...4% Al2O3, 3...10% ZnO, maximum 10% PbO si respectiv 10% a, 6...12 a2, 3...9 2, precum si din agenti cromofori, între care 0,3...1% d, 1...3 d si 0,020...1,2% seleniu metalic, asociati cu sulf elementar, care în scopul asigurarii unei atmosfere slab reducatoare sau slab oxidante în procesul de topire necesara, obtinerii nuantelor de rosu sau galben, contin sulf elementar în raport procentual de 0,1...1,5%.
