Abstract

Inventia se refera la un procedeu pentru izomerizarea hidrocarburilor aromatice cu 8 atomi de carbon în molecula, pentru obtinerea para si ortoxilenului, în prezenta de catalizator, prin introducerea de hidrogen, conform caruia în scopul cresterii randamentului în hidrocarburi alifatice, C1.....C4 nedorite, se introduce în zona de izomerizare cel putin o hidrocarbura alifatica cu minimum 5 atomi de carbon în molecula, în proportie de 1....10% în greutate, iar catalizatorul utilizat este constituit din 0,1....0,5% în greutate platin depus pe un suport din 15....50% în greutate mordenit cationic si 50.....85% în greutate gama-alumina.
