Abstract
Procedeu de hidrogenare a grupei metil-exociclice din 6 metilen-tetracicline cu hidrogen gazos, în prezenta de catalizatori, caracterizat prin aceea ca se aduc în reactie tetracicline cu formula generala I: (vezi form. in desc.) în care Y reprezinta un atom de hidrogen, sau o grupa hidroxil, Z reprezinta un atom de hidrogen sau un atom de clor, cu hidrogen gazos sub presiune de 1....120 at, la temperatura de 20....85 degree C, în prezenta unui complex cu formula generala:(vezi form. in desc.) în care R1 si R2 reprezinta radicali inferioara cu 1..4 atomi de carbon, eventual, în prezenta de bromura sau iodura de potasiu în proportie de 0,25....1% greutate fata de masa complecsului, într-un solvent ales din eter-etilenglicol-monometilic, eter etilenglicol-monoetilic, N,N-dimetilformamida sau alcool cu 1....4 atomi de carbon, luat singur sau în amestec, apoi amestecul de reactie este prelucrat, în mod cunoscut, în vederea separarii produsului de reactie.
