Abstract
Prezenta inventie se refera la o baterie de celule de geometrie cilindrica, care transforma direct energia de fisiune în energie electrica si functioneaza în fluxuri de neutroni termici sau rapizi. Bateria de celule cilindrice de fisiune, pentru conversia directa a energiei nucleare în energie electrica, este caracterizata prin aceea ca, în scopul asamblarii usoare în bateria cu un numar mare de celule, celulele sunt realizate dintr-un singur profil cilindric, tipizat (1), alcatuit din doua zone cu sectiuni diferite, prima zona cu sectiune redusa si cu depunere la exterior de material fisionabil (2) constituie emiterul unei celule, a doua zona cu sectiune mare reprezinta colectorul celulei urmatoare, profile succesive, sunt izolate electric cu un izolator electric (3), celulele sunt asamblate mecanic cu ajutorul unei tije (5), iar înserierea lor electrica este realizata fara elemente auxiliare pentru legaturile electrice dintre celule.
