Grinda chesonata permite realizarea unor structuri integral prefabricate pentru hale industriale etajate în care procedeele tehnologice impun o ventilare a spatiului. structura integral prefabricata a halei permite asigurarea unei ventilatii prin modul de asamblare a elementelor prefabricate obtinîndu-se pe lînga un planseu rigid tip saiba, eliminarea tubulaturii necesara ventilarii, precum si o utilizare mult mai rationala a spatiului.
