Abstract

The invention relates to a blade device for cutting thin and very thin foils made of plastics, PVC, PE or films, with very low effort and reduced blade wear, so that a portion to be gripped by the hand is left after cutting, for the next cutting. According to the invention, the device comprises a plate () provided with a channel () wherethrough a blade () slides cutting the foil while leaving the plate () untouched, the blade being a part of a cutting tool () which slides along a guide () and has an arm made of a heavy material to provide the blade pressing onto the foil and a rotary support () with two conical elements () which permit foil rolls of various sizes to be fixed onto the device.
