Abstract

The invention relates to a desk which provides protection for people who find shelter under it, in case of an earthquake or in case of severe damage caused to the building by other reasons and which offers the people the means for survival and acustically signaling their presence. According to the invention, the desk comprises some legs (1), some metal profiles (2), a sheet metal cover (8), some compartments (6 and 7) wherein there are stored a survival kit and water and also a foldable support plate (3) for a keyboard, a handle (4) formed of a U-shaped profile whereon there rolls a support plate (9), a stopper (10) for the plate (9) and some wheels (11).
