Abstract

The invention relates to stochastic sensors for determining the presence of ascorbic acid at the molecular level from liquid samples, meant to be used in the pharmaceutical, foodstuff, chemistry and biochemistry fields, and to a process for making the same. According to the invention, the sensors consist of a conical body (1), in whose apex there is a layer (2) made of a diamond or graphite paste modified with a porphyrin derivative, a layer (3) of diamond or graphite paste, a layer (4) of KCl solution and a Ag/AgCl reference electrode (5). A process for making said sensors is also presented.
