Compoziția antiseptică și cicatrizantă se realizează dizolvând prin încălzire la fierbere 10 g colagen și 2,5 g citrat de sodiu. Separat se prepară soluția de iodiodurat prin dizolvarea sub agitare a 3 g iodură de potasiu în 20 ml apă, la care se adaugă 1,5 g iod. Se amestecă cele două soluții după ajustarea prealabilă a soluției de colagen cu sol. NaOH 10 % până la pH=9. Se adaugă 5 g glicerină anhidră, 1 g polietilenglicol 400 și 0,2 g acid salicilic.
