Abstract

Inventia se refera la un procedeu de obtinere a polistirenului expandabil, prin polimerizarea în suspensie a stirenului, discontinuu, în prezenta unor initiatori peroxidici si apoi gazeificarea perlelor de polistiren, obtinute cu ajutorul unei hidrocarburi alifatice. Sistemul de stabilizare, utilizat, este format dintr-un compus macromolecular solubil în apa si o sare anorganica. Prin utilizarea acestui sistem de satbilizare, a unui ciclu de temperatura si a unei intensitati de agitare stabilite se obtin perle de polistiren expandabil, care au o forma sferica si o distributie granulometrica restrânsa.
