Abstract
The plate comprises paste with addition of glass fibres acting as reinforcing and canal fibres, amorphous silica and carboxy methyl cellulose. The silica increases the reserve of electrolyte promoting gelling and variation of the electrode voltage due to change in volume. The electrode has rapid discharge capacity at low temp., and increased reliability and service life.
