Abstract

The invention relates to a structure for installing baguette glass panels in metallic carpentry; for simpler mounting of glass panels and the metallic window frame, and for good air tightness, this structure consists of a profile seal, which has a central channel on one face and some side channels on the other, an outward trapezoidal channel, and some protection profiles at the ends; the seal is placed on a metal frame, provided with two outer support shoulders corresponding to the profiles and a central median spur corresponding to the central channels; the glass panels are introduced in the lateral channels, and are installed by pressing some rigid baguettes mounted in the trapezoidal channels and tightened with screws and nuts.
