Abstract
The invention consists of a pipe-cropping device destined to the cropping of metallic semi-products under various angles.According to the invention, the pipe-cropping device is composed of a driving plate (2) entrained by an electromotor (4) and some toothed gears (3). On the plate (2) a fixed coil (5) is fixed, in which a rotor (6) is moving, actuated by an electromotor (7) and some toothed gears (9).In the rotor (6) there are some cutter holders (12) installed, which are radially shifting in proportion to a semi-product (13), actuated by rollers (14) and chain wheels (15). The cropping angle is determined by the rotation of the plate (2), by the angular position of the fixed coil (5) and, therefore, of the cutter holders (12), in proportion to the axis of the semi-product (13).<IMAGE>
