Abstract
The invention is part of the field of nuclear radiation dosimetry and solves problems regarding the measurement of contamination level and exposure rate in the area of nuclear installations and other spaces where radioactive substances are handled for the purpose of radioprotection of the operating personnel. The ionization chamber is made of plastic, has a parallelepiped shape, a film window of 0.8-3.5 mg / cm of exponent 2, with an effective area of 450 cm of exponent 2 and longitudinal electrodes. The ionisation chamber can be used in radioactive surface contamination control equipment or in various electronic assemblies to measure exposure flow.
