Inventia se refera la un procedeu de obtinere a polietilenei pentru fabricarea rafiei sintetice, prin polimerizarea în suspensie a etilenei, într-un singur reactor, la temperaturi de 50 ... 150 grade C, de preferinta 75 ... 85 grade C, la presiuni de 0,1 ... 2,0 MPa, de preferinta 0,3 ... 0,7 MPA, cu catalizator compus de titan impregnat pe un suport de baza de MgCl indice 2, densitatea polietilenei fiind reglata în domeniul 0,94 ... 0,95 g/cm cub prin copolimerizarea etilenei cu o alfa-olefina, de preferinta propilena. Se obtine o polietilena cu etirare uniforma.
