Inventia se refera la un electrod cu învelis bazic pentru sudare cu arc electric, destinat în special îmbinarii prin sudare a conductelor. Electrodul, conform inventiei, are învelisul alcatuit în procente în greutate, din : 2 ... 15 % rutil; 30 ... 55% marmura; 8 ... 20% fluorina; 8 ... 20 % cuart; 0,5 ... 3% magneziu pulbere; 3 ... 10 % ferosiliciu; 3 ... 10 % ferosiliciu titan; 3,5 ... 6 % feromangan; 1 ... 5 % wolastonit; 1 ... 3 % carbonat de sodiu; 0,5 ... 2 % alginat de sodiu; 20 ... 30 % silicat de potasiu liant. într-o alta varianta de realizare, electrodul mai are în componenta învelisului 1 ... 5 % pulbere de nichel.
