Abstract

The invention concerns a presser, used particularly for pressings that require high compression and a relatively small active stroke as compared to the idler, such as, for example, the duroplastic material pressing.The presser, according to the invention, is made of a few rigid parts and a crosshead. There are inferior and superior cavities on the crosshead, divided by a horizontal wall with bores through which pass the rods of the high pressure hydraulic cylinders. On the horizontal wall are some crank gears that move the slides, thus connecting and disconnecting the crosshead to and from the rods of the high pressure hydraulic cylinders.
