CONDEPOLS, S.A. "PROCESSO DE CONFECÇAO DE UMA ASA DE SUSPENSÃO EM CONTENTO-RES FLEXÍVEIS PARA PRODUTOS A GRANEL"CONDEPOLS, S.A. " PROCESS FOR CONTAINING A SUSPENSION HANDLE IN FLEXIBLE CONTAINERS FOR BULK PRODUCTS "
OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to a process for the manufacture of a suspension wing in flexible containers for bulk products when such containers are large and are intended to carry and / or store products in bulk, for example cereals , rations, etc. The purpose of the proposed process is to make it possible to manufacture a suspension wing, which is part of the container itself, in order to facilitate manipulation thereof, that is, to be able to carry out the suspension and transport of that container by means of mechanical elements. According to the method according to the present invention, the suspension wing is economically manufactured, mechanically resistant, rigid and readily simple in structure.
OF THE INVENTION Many means are known for the suspension of large capacity flexible containers intended for storing and transporting bulk products, in which case the French patent No. 2,517,281 and Spanish patent No. 529,875. The first relates to a container of the type to which we are referring and provided with a suspension ring for the passage of the corresponding lifting hook of the mechanical device which will carry out the manipulation of the container, said ring consisting of a woven material or the like embracing upper wings which receive a configuration resulting from the fact that the container is folded in that upper part, all done when the said container is made. Needless to say, this system for obtaining a suspension element for large capacity containers is impractical as it requires, on the one hand, the folding of what has been called the upper wing of the container and, on the other hand, the manufacture of said ring, to close it on itself around said wing, which presupposes an additional element for the container itself.
With regard to the Spanish patent No. 529 875, the suspension wing carried out in the container referred to in said patent is formed by draining the ring or rings which form in the upper part of the container and fixed thereto and, after this fixing action, engages with a part provided by the lower part, sewn in the precisely-folding zone.
This system for obtaining the suspension wing has as a consequence the need to carry out the operation of mutual joining of the folds of the fabric forming the container, by gluing, tying or sewing, with repercussions thereon no doubt in time, which increases, and in the process of manufacturing the container. In addition, when the folds or folds are joined together, the bonding becomes the tissue zone where the stresses are concentrated when the container is raised, overlapping that small zone and thereby increasing the risk of tearing of the fabric.
OF THE INVENTION The process according to the present invention has been designed to produce a suspension wing of the type described but which meets the characteristics of economy, strength, rigidity and simplicity of manufacture, as a consequence of the folding of the upper rings being made in zigzag, ie in the form of a harmonium, not requiring additional parts or elements of joining or fixing the folds together, thus eliminating the operations traditionally performed and consisting of joining folds of the fabric by gluing, fastening or sewing, reducing the time required for the preparation.
-4-On the other hand, because the folds are not joined together, they will remain as independent units and each will work in such a way as to produce a proportional distribution of effort, thereby maximizing the mechanical possibilities of the fabric . -4-
s .¾s
On the other hand, it has also been envisaged that the flange zone is completed with a flexible, outer and wraparound material, preferably an analogous fabric or the body of the container, forming a kind of protective tube of said folded zone, which adjusts is fixed by means of a glue or seam, creating a permanent wing. This wraparound part, while maintaining the pleat of the fabric, protects it from friction with the elements used to raise the container.
On the basis of the novel concept of the way of obtaining the suspension wing, an economy in the constitution of the suspension is achieved by eliminating operations to effect the joining of the fabric folds made in conventional systems.
Also, the wing is sufficiently robust to fulfill its mechanical function and is capable of withstanding the friction to which it is subjected during handling operations so that they do not damage the fabric forming the co-mold of the container. And also to emphasize the rigidity of the wing itself; once this is done, the operator who is in charge of the trans- portation system (forklift, hoist, etc.) is able to raise the container by himself without leaving his post and without the cooperation of any other person.
Another important feature of the suspension wing according to the present invention resides in that; not be required to work in the position determined by sewing; they work better and divide the loads better when they are applied.
Finally, it should be noted that the making of this wing is very simple and easy without requiring sophisticated equipment or constituents of complex design to obtain said wing.
In order to complete the following description and to help better understand the features of the present invention, accompanying drawings accompany the drawings, the figures of which make it easier to understand the innovations and advantages of the flexible container suspension wing according to the present invention.

DESCRIÇÃO DAS FORMAS PE REALIZAÇÃO PREFERIDASDESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS
In the drawings, the like common parts have always the same reference numerals.
2, obtendo-se assim o contentor, que ficará aberto nos lados correspondentes à zona tracejada (A-A1) daStarting from a rectangular piece of flat fabric 1, as shown in Fig. 1, the manufacture of the container is made conventionally by folding the middle transverse line (I-11), matching the vertices (C, C1) and (D, D1), protruding to the seam on both sides 2) and the bottom (3), as shown in Fig. 2, thus obtaining the container, which will be open on the sides corresponding to the dashed zone (A-A1) of the
Once these operations have been carried out, the wing is started, the zigzag-pleat of all the fabric corresponding to that dashed zone (A-A1) is performed, i.e. by performing the pleat (A) to the opposite side (A1), so that the initial width of the fabric will be reduced to a width sufficiently small to be easily covered by hooks or plugs used for lifting and transporting the containers.
In Fig. The zigzag pleat 4 is clearly shown in a zigzag pattern, the fabric being reduced to a zone of small width and completing a part 5 with side edges E and E1 intended to enclose (4) and joins the edges (E) and (E '), forming a wraparound sleeve, as shown in Fig. 5, which protects said zigzag pleat zone (4) by closing said piece (5) by means of a seam (6), by gluing or other suitable means.
In any case, this pleated area 4 lies within the sleeve 5, which will be of a flexible material, preferably an analog fabric or the body of the container 1, so that the sleeve 5 will maintain the fold (4), protecting the friction with the elements used to lift the container.
6 a 10, o processoIn the case where a rectangular piece of flat fabric (11) is used to make a container with a double suspension point, as shown in fig. 6 to 10, the process
According to another aspect of the present invention there is provided a cross-section (F-F1) for determining two broken side regions (A-A1) and (B-B1) each. of which it is intended to form a wing, in this case with two pleats (4), as shown in Fig. 8, thus defining respective wings as shown in Figs. 9 and 10, the pleated areas (4) constituting such wings protected by the corresponding shell or sleeve (5). That is, in this case, the dashed zone between the edges A and A1 and on the other hand the dashed area between the letters B1,
In the case of starting from a rectangular piece of tubular fabric 1, as shown in FIGS. 11 to 15, it will suffice to sew the bottom 3 to close the container 1 and to make a seam 31 at the top, i.e., to join the upper edges of the dashed portions between the letters AB to then proceed to the pleat and obtain the same pleated area (4), as in the previous cases.
Therefore, the method according to the present invention is based on zigzagging an upper zone corresponding to the ring or the rings forming the container and obtaining a zone or zones (4) reduced to the minimum width and completed with the sleeve ( 5) formed by a rectangular piece which is sewed by its side edges (E-E1), thus achieving; a definitive wing highly resistant, rigid, economic and of simple construction.
