Abstract
The aluminium alloy block is a cube with an extension from two adjacent faces. Each extension has indentations on two adjacent faces. The indentations have a layer of solder fitted and keyed into the surface so that they project slightly. The square hollow tubes are pressed onto the spigots respectively, the solder ensuring an interference fit. The assembly is heated with a blow torch to weld the surfaces by capillary action of the solder.
