Abstract
The stable structure consists of tubular components of any shape, size or material and post-tensioned supporting cables or other tensory elements. The tubular components contain, at appropriate intervals according to their length and resistance, two pairs of perforations which permit the passage of the supporting cables or other tensory elements. Each pair of perforations are situated at the respective ends of a chord of the cross-section of the tubular component. The chords corresponding to the two pairs of perforations are situated on opposite sides of an identical of the cross-section. The whole structure is a stable structure whose static form is determined by the relative lengths of the two post-tensioned cables or other tensory elements in each pair.
