No

Description of the object of the invention

ANTOINE PIERRE, French, Industrial, resident at 6 Rue de 1'Ouest, escalier 4, 92000 NAn terre, France, intends to obtain in Portugal, for a CONSTRUCTION COMPONENT INTENDED FOR THE FORMING OF A WALLPAPER FOR ENCLOSURE OF IDENTICAL ELEMENTS, AND SO WET WALL ".

The present invention relates to a building element for forming a watertight wall by engagement of identical elements capable of ensuring the thermal, electrical or phonic sealing of any volume.

The present invention more particularly relates to such elements made in light and refractory materials for the interior coating of ovens. ι

The present invention provides a construction element of the type comprising two bases and four non-flat side faces, opposing two to two, and intended to form a sealed wall by engagement of the identical element side faces, characterized in that two of these opposing side faces are symmetrical to each other in relation to a median plane and have a first profile having a center of symmetry, whereas between the other opposing side faces one has the same first profile and the other has a complementary profile of this first profile.

In an advantageous embodiment of the invention, the pri55574

u

The first profile comprises zones of union of the bases which are orthogonal to these bases.

Moreover, in order to ensure both good sealing age and good mechanical strength in a direction perpendicular to the bases, the first profile preferably comprises a zone passing through the center of symmetry of said profile, which is parallel to the bases.

To increase the tightness, the first profile advantageously comprises at least one recessed zone between one of the bases and the center of symmetry of said profile.

The invention will now be described in more detail with reference to the accompanying drawings in which:

Figures 1 and 2 are cross-sectional views in two orthogonal directions of an element according to the invention;

Figures 3β4 are cross-sectional views of other elements of the invention;

Figure 5 is a cross-sectional view showing in part how the assembly can be performed;

Figuas 6, 7 and 8 are perspective views of securing rods.

The member 1 shown in Figure 1 comprises two bases 2 and 3 and four side faces 4, 5, 6 and 7:

The two bases 2 and 3 are flat and rectangular in shape (they could be square, for example).

The side faces 4 and 5 'on the one hand, β 6 and 7, on the other hand, are opposed two by two.

-255574

Dossier Ν «.2δ5 / δ4

Faces 4 and 5 are symmetrical with respect to a median plane M orthogonal to bases 2 and 3.

The faces 4, 5 β 6 have the same profile P, while the face 7 has a profile P 'complementary to the profile P.

The face 7 is therefore derived from face 6 by translation.

The profile P presents a center of symmetry C. It therefore bears two semi-profiles P ^ and P ^ symmetric with respect to C.

The semi-profile P ^ is part of a point A of the base 2 and carries to the point B a zone 8 orthogonal to the base 2 and of small length. It then comprises a zone 9 connecting the point B to a point D recessed with respect to the zone 8 and of greater length than the zone 8, a zone 10 of small length that connects the point D to an advanced point E in relation to point D, but recessed with respect to point A, and a zone 11 connecting point E to the center of symmetry C, this zone 11- constituting the middle of a zone 11 parallel to the third

bases 2 and 3

The symmetrical semi-profile Pg starts from a point A * of the base 3 'and connects the center of symmetry C through the points

B * D 'β E *.

In Figures 3 β 4 represent are other elements respectivamento 12 and 13, according to 0 the invention with, for Figure 3 0 same type of cut that for Figure 1 and Figure 4 0 the same type of cut that for Figure 2.

The elements 12 and 13 have side faces having the same profile P as the side faces of the element 1.

In contrast, the bases are no longer flat.

For the element 1, the bases 14 and 15 are bent with-3WH

Dossler N, 285/84

while for the element 13, the bases 16 and 17 have a curved shape, but are no longer parallel.

Figures 3 and 4 show that the shape of the bases can be adapted to match the shape of the volume to be coated.

Figure 5 shows how the assembling of the elements 1 can be effected in a direction orthogonal to the median plane M. The elements 1 are engaged after rotation of one element every two seconds at an angle of 180 ° about an orthonormal axis to the median plane M.

The engagement in another direction is easily obtained by approximating the face 7 of a first member and the face 6 of a second member.

It should be noted that an error may be made when an element is fitted into one of its faces. This error, in any case, can be canceled when the immediately adjacent element is assembled.

The element according to the present invention may be supported, or supported, bridge or console.

The support elements may be attached to supports by means of rods such as 20, 21 and 2 ' represented respectively in Figures 6, 7 and 8. In the case of oven coating, these rods can be made of refractory or stainless steel. These rods comprise a threaded end, respectively 22, 23 and 26. For the shank 20, the other end 24 is in the form of a ring orthogonal to the rest of the shank and comes to engage the base as soon as the shank 20 is inserted in the element. In the case of the shank 21, the other end is in the form of a propeller which is inscribed in a cone whose axis is the extension of the shank. Such a rod will be introduced by rotation until its base reaches the wall level of the element. At the

-455574Dossler No. 285/84

In the case of the rod 26, the other end is in 11 sachets. Such a rod is introduced from the side of the holder into the elements to be supported.

It should be noted that these rods can be inserted into the elements, practically at any point, which greatly facilitates assembly. The threaded ends of the rods are secured to a support.

The side faces that fit can be placed during assembly.

With the element according to the invention, it is possible to obtain an excellent sealing age, due to the baffle path between the side faces of two neighboring elements, even without glue.

The elements according to the invention can be carried out in light and insulating materials, in particular in refractory materials.

As materials, fissured stones (eg 'Gard' stones), materials obtained by molding (in particular by vacuum molding) and possibly baking of refractory pastes (eg diamond bricks) or fibrous materials ( for example rock wool).

It should be noted that a single mold can be used for the molding whose faces corresponding to the bases can be deformed so as to adapt the bases to the surfaces to be coated.

The elements may comprise several layers of different materials. In this case, the layers of materials must be arranged symmetrically so that the characteristics are the same for the elements used-555574

Dossier Ν 9 .2δ5 / δ4

in one direction and are used after 180 ° rotation.

It is evident that the element according to the invention may have applications in other fields than the coating of ovens, in particular in the field of construction and public works.

The invention has particular advantages in the use of fibrous materials. In relation to the prior art in this field, the backbone and / or traditional irons of important section framing are suppressed. In fact, minimum sections are sufficient.

The installation is also greatly relieved by the use of a material of low density and thus of low coefficient of thermal, electrical and phonic conductivity.

On the other hand, current coatings already use fibrous materials in different types of industrial furnaces, for example, they are executed by overlapping layers in either the board and maintained with a high density of union, or directly on the irons in contact, or even through large metal boxes that make the installation heavy.

The tightness obtained by tightening the panels against each other is entirely relative, especially in the event of expansion.

For the purpose of the present invention, the coating work is carried out by rapid assembly of monolithic pieces which impart effective sealing.
