Figura 9 é um desenho mostrando uma planta de uma cobertura de tampo de mesa circular num tampo. A cobertura para tampo de mesa apresentada na Figura 1 consiste num substrato (1) de papel intermédio, uma camada de adesivo semi-permanente (2) numa camada de película de polímero transportadora transparente (3) sustentando uma camada impressa de exibição (4), constituindo o motivo promocional, e, colado sobre a camada impressa (4) através de uma segunda camada de adesivo (2a), uma segunda camada da película de polímero (3a) . A camada adesiva (2a), através da qual a camada do segundo polímero está ligada, é feita de um adesivo EVA transparente. A aplicação apresentada na Figura 2 é semelhante à apresentada na Figura 1 excepto que a cobertura para tampo de mesa da Figura 3 inclui, na segunda camada de polímero (3a) , uma segunda camada de papel intermédio (5) para auxiliar na aplicação da cobertura para tampo de mesa ao tampo da mesa. A Figura 3 mostra num plano de cima, uma cobertura para tampo de mesa rectangular no qual a camada transportadora de PET transportadora (6) transporta a camada impressa de exibição (7) que tem uma área mais pequena do que a camada transportadora. A Figura 4 é uma vista plana apresentando uma cobertura para o tampo de mesa circular em posição num tampo de mesa circular (8) . A cobertura para o tampo da mesa é também circular e o seu tamanho é tal que a margem (9) da camada transportadora da película de polímero transparente (10) é de 10 mm desde a margem do tampo da mesa. A distância da margem (11) da área impressa da cobertura do tampo de mesa desde a margem (9) da película de polímero 7 transparente não é crítica e depende da natureza do material de exibição compreendendo a camada impressa de exibição. A Figura 5 mostra, num plano de cima, uma cobertura para tampo de mesa circular no qual a camada transportadora da película de polímero (12) com uma área impressa de exibição constituindo o motivo promocional, tem guias (13) em redor da sua margem que se destinam a ser utilizadas ao longo da beira de uma mesa de tampo circular para fornecer ancoragem adicional para a cobertura do tampo de mesa. A Figura 6 é uma vista de perspectiva ilustrando o método de aplicação de acordo com a invenção das coberturas para tampos de mesa, utilizando como exemplo a cobertura para tampos de mesa rectangulares da Figura 3. The adhesive layer 2a, through which the layer of the second polymer is bonded, is made of a transparent EVA adhesive. The application shown in Figure 2 is similar to that shown in Figure 1 except that the table top cover of Figure 3 includes, in the second polymer layer 3a, a second layer of intermediate paper (5) to assist in the application of the cover for table top to table top. Figure 3 shows in a top plan a rectangular table top cover in which the carrier PET conveyor layer 6 carries the printed display layer 7 having a smaller area than the conveyor layer. Figure 4 is a plan view showing a cover for the circular table top in position on a circular table top (8). The cover for the table top is also circular and its size is such that the margin (9) of the transparent polymer film carrier layer (10) is 10 mm from the edge of the table top. The distance from the edge (11) of the printed area of the table top cover from the edge (9) of the transparent polymer film 7 is not critical and depends on the nature of the display material comprising the printed display layer. Figure 5 shows, in a top plane, a circular tabletop cover in which the carrier layer of the polymer film (12) with a printed printed area constituting the promotional motif, has guides (13) around its edge which are intended to be used along the edge of a circular top table to provide additional anchorage for the table top cover. Figure 6 is a perspective view illustrating the method of application according to the invention of table top covers, using as an example the cover for rectangular table tops of Figure 3. The table top cover is applied from one end of a rectangular table 14 and in this case the conveyor layer 15 is sufficiently long to enclose the end 16. During application, the intermediate paper layer (not shown in the sketch) is removed from the table top cover to expose the semi-permanent adhesive layer of the table top cover and allows the cover to adhere to a flat table top having been provided. Reivindicações 1.
