Abstract

The aim of the invention is to further develop the sound-absorbing element in order to prevent the penetration of, in particular, volatile substances while, at the same time, attaining favorable acoustic properties. To this end, the invention provides that the layer (2) made of a sound-absorbing material is provided in the form of a fibrous material, and the impervious layer (4) is provided in the form of a thermoplastic material.
