Description

< Otwory w elementach plaskich poddanych w czasie pracy obciazeniom zmiennym czesto sa przyczyna oslabien prowadzacych do pekniec zmeczeniowych wskutek spietrzenia naprezen w rejonie otworu. Wykorzystanie sposobu ilustruje rysunek. » Umacniany element plaski 1 sciskany jest sila P miedzy dwoma elementami dociskowymi 2 poprzez stempel 3 srodkowy w umacnianym otworze. Podkladka 4 w podstawie 5 umozliwiaja regulacje glebokosci odcisku plastycznego. ' PLThe subject of the invention is a method for strengthening flat elements with openings exposed to variable loads. <Holes in flat elements subjected to variable loads during operation often cause weaknesses leading to fatigue cracks due to the accumulation of stresses in the area of the opening. Currently, internal burnishing or rolling of the holes is used to improve the fatigue properties of such elements. These methods lead to a significant change in dimensions introduce errors in the geometry of the holes, moreover, they can be used only for round holes. The method of strengthening elements with holes according to the invention consists in inducing a state of final compressive stresses around the hole by making an appropriate cold plastic impression in the area of notches caused by holes, favorably changing the distribution of operational stresses, which contributes to improving the fatigue properties of elements weakened with holes. The method is simple, quick to use and does not change the dimensions of the hardened hole. It can be used for holes of various shapes as well as for reinforcing notches in the form of side cuts. The use of the method is illustrated in the drawing. »The force P to be strengthened 1 is pressed between the two pressure elements 2 through the center punch 3 in the hole to be reinforced. The washer 4 in the base 5 enables adjustment of the depth of the plastic impression. 'PL
