Description

Sposób intensyfikacji, wedlug wynalazku, zwiek¬ sza wydajnosc procesu martenowskiego, dzieki przyspieszeniu okresu roztapiania wsadu metalo¬ wego w piecu za pomoca wprowadzanego tlenu.Ponadto sposób umozliwia prowadzenie intensyfi¬ kacji swiezenia bez koniecznosci stosowania rucho¬ mych lanc tlenowych. PLThe subject of the invention is a method of intensifying the open-hearth process. The known method of intensifying the open-hearth process consists in the use of oxygen to burn fuel and to refresh the metal bath. During the refreshing of the bath, oxygen is injected through movable oxygen lances with cylindrical nozzles, mounted in the furnace roof. or immersed in a metal bath. The use of mobile oxygen lances causes great technical difficulties and, moreover, requires high investment costs. The essence of the invention consists in introducing oxygen into the molten metal charge through supersonic nozzles, the range of which the oxygen jets interact with is regulated as the charge melts. The number of oxygen nozzles is at least equal to the number of batch ports. The method of intensification, according to the invention, increases the efficiency of the open-hearth process, due to the acceleration of the melting period of the metal charge in the furnace with the help of the introduced oxygen. Moreover, the method makes it possible to intensify the refreshment without the need to use movable oxygen lances. The method of intensifying the open hearth process consists in introducing oxygen through nozzles with a regulated range of oxygen streams, mounted in the furnace roof above each charging window. It is also possible to use a dual arrangement of nozzles with different ranges of influence of oxygen jets. For example, in a 60 ton open-hearth furnace, working with 100% by weight of solid charge, the process efficiency is achieved by the method according to the invention, the efficiency of the process is about 15% higher when using 10-15 nm 3 of oxygen per 1 ton of metal charge.
