Description

PL PLMany animal fats contain a relatively large number of vitamins, and for example, the liver oil contains vitamins A, which promote growth, and antirachitic vitamins F, while butter contains only vitamin A. To enrich the vitamins in animal fats and plants, many attempts have been made to isolate the kb of artificial vitamin production. Vitamin E has been produced by irradiating ultraviolet rays from vitamin-poor animal and vegetable fats. Vitamin A has not been produced in this way so far. Trials have shown that vitamin A can be easily produced by exposure to ultraviolet light, if the irradiated oil does not come into contact with oxygen, as vitamins A are extremely sensitive to the action of oxygen. Experiments have shown that animals fed with illuminated oil according to the present invention also grow rapidly as animals fed with liver oil or butter, so that the fats produced in accordance with the invention contain vitamin A. The new method enables the production of wholesome edible fats and margarine from pure vegetable fats. PL PL
