Inside, longitudinal dividers divide the shelf's storage space into compartments, each containing products intended for presentation and sale, such as packaged square or rectangular bread. The number of compartments in a shelf is variable. The vertical uprights are covered by side walls shaped like elongated rectangular slats with rounded tops. Each side wall has a recess along its entire height on the inside, which is mounted on the frame upright. The frame of the shelf, viewed from the front, has a rectangular outline, with a connector forming a straight, horizontal end. The shelving unit can be designed as a folding unit, in which case it is constructed from modules consisting of column sections to which an inclined shelf is attached. This means that the unit can be expanded by adding additional modules depending on the user's needs. In another version, the shelving unit can have fixed-height, non-demountable columns, meaning the unit has a fixed number of shelves. The shelving unit can be manufactured in various forms. In the first version, its form is defined by a horizontal connector, vertical side walls, and shelves positioned on one side, i.e., protruding from one side of the frame. In the second version, the shelving unit is defined by a horizontal connector, vertical rectangular side walls, and shelves positioned on both sides, i.e., protruding from both sides of the frame at the same height. In the third variant, the shelving unit is defined by a horizontal connector, vertical rectangular side walls, and alternating shelves, extending from both sides of the frame at different heights. The shelving unit is equipped with an information and advertising board located on the top of the frame. An advertising panel, for example, an illuminated one, can also be installed in the upper section. Furthermore, a cover is located above the top shelf, intended for displaying inscriptions and symbols, such as the manufacturer's name, product name, etc. This cover can be mounted above each shelf. This industrial-style shelving unit allows for convenient viewing of the merchandise and easy removal of items from the shelf compartment, as well as replenishment by store staff. A shelving unit can be large and then rest on the store floor, or it can be low and rest on the counter near the checkout. It can also be equipped with wheels for easy movement. The shelf can be attached to the shelving frame, but it can also be standalone and then mounted to the wall.
