Various beds for four-legged pets – dogs, cats, or rabbits – are known, used for resting, including lounging, napping during the day, and sleeping at night. Their purpose is to separate and provide an individual space for the pet within its owner's home. They are generally designed to be practical and allow the bed to be moved from one location to another, for example, from a room or hallway to a balcony, terrace, or garden, or to be taken with it on trips, so that the pet, regardless of where it spends time with its owner, always feels comfortable and can sleep in a familiar place. The simplest known bed is a conventional mattress or cushion for pets, formed into any shape, though typically rectangular or oval, each time so that the entire surface of the mattress or cushion serves as a seat or bed. A definite advantage of such conventional beds is their exceptionally easy cleaning. To remove pet hair, simply shake, vacuum, or clean with a damp cloth or lint roller. These beds are often machine washable. However, a significant drawback of these solutions is the lack of any walls – including back and side walls, sometimes also called sides or sides – which means that such a mattress or cushion cannot provide the animal with adequate coziness and a sense of security, and furthermore, it does not guarantee keeping the animal warm. Furthermore, some popular mattresses and pillows used as beds for pets typically begin to deform over time and take on the shape of the animal's body. This makes such beds less comfortable for the animal and loses their cushioning effect. This can ultimately lead to instability of the bed surface, adversely affecting the animal's point of support when lying down or getting up on the mattress or pillow. The support material inside such a mattress or pillow is distributed unevenly across the bed surface, failing to provide adequate support in different areas of the animal's body. For example, this type of bed cannot provide one level of support for the animal's head and a second level of support, different from the first level, for the remaining parts of the animal's torso. Due to these types of problems, designers and manufacturers of pet beds are increasingly using suitable upholstery foams, polyurethane, or other innovative materials as filling materials for such beds. One such cushion, functioning as a bed and having a conventional form, was disclosed in the description of a utility model of the Republic of Korea – published under number KR00314936 (Y1) – ("Pet Animal Cushion"). According to the description, the cushion-bed is rectangular and contains two layers, one of which is a cushioning layer consisting of a cotton element, ensuring comfort when the animal sits, and the other layer is a layer of antibacterial ceramic fiber covering the cotton element. It was noted that the ceramic materials used to create this particular cushion layer are powder-processed into particles ranging in size from 500 to 3500 mesh (a scale used to determine the grain size of bulk materials), 13.5 to 16.5% by weight of porosal or meteorite, 1.8 to 2.2% by weight of titanium oxide; 1 to 3% by weight of penetrant and dispersant; 0.5 to 3% by weight; and 79 to 81% by weight of acrylic monomer. The undoubted advantages of this cushion-bed include its antibacterial properties and—as the creator assures—its excellent infrared and anionic radiation performance, while the ceramic materials it contains also have deodorizing properties. However, as mentioned earlier, the cushion known from utility model KR00314936 does not have any side walls to envelop the animal. A completely different type of pet bed, intended especially for dogs and cats, is a bed that has – in addition to the cushion (one side of which is generally made of a durable and easy-to-clean material, and the other of soft plush) – also thickly padded edges. These edges either surround the cushion on all sides or are in the form of a back wall and side walls (sides). The first type of bed is disclosed, for example, in the Australian patent application description, published under number AU021102991 (A4) – "A pet bed" (literally: "Animal bed/couch"). According to the above description, the bed consists of several components, including: - a pad stuffed with a mass of soft material, adapted for the animal to rest on its surface, in other words, serving as a comfortable support for sitting or lying on. This pad is a mattress and/or pillow made of foam or cotton. The pad preferably has four equal sides, so it takes the shape of a rectangle (although other pad shapes are not excluded in the embodiment examples – i.e., round and oval), - a wall section – where the wall at least partially, and preferably entirely, surrounds the main part of the bed, i.e., the pad. This wall is higher than the pad section. At the same time, the exterior of the wall part is preferably aligned with the exterior of the part constituting the bed's base, so that it does not protrude beyond the base and fits entirely within the base's surface. Preferably, the interior of the wall defines the interior area of the animal's bed. Thus, the wall, being located on the perimeter of the pad, adapts its shape to the shape of the pad – i.e. if the pad is rectangular, the wall also has four sides and four angles, whereas if the pad were, for example, oval, the wall surrounding it – on its perimeter would also be oval, etc., - pad cover – it is removable, suitable for cleaning, it should be made of a textile material, i.e. a fabric preferably containing an antibacterial agent or antistatic material, - cover for the wall part – similarly to the pad cover, it is removable, also suitable for cleaning and should also be made of a textile material, i.e. a fabric preferably containing an antibacterial agent or antistatic material, - name tag with the animal’s name – detachably attached, which can be easily attached to the bed's pad or, more preferably, to the bed's wall. According to the creator's suggestion, it is best for the name tag to be attached to the bed using fasteners or magnetic material, which does not exclude other options for attaching the tag, including hook-and-loop fasteners, snaps, or hook-and-loop fasteners. Preferably, the name tag should be adapted to display information about the animal. In one embodiment of the invention, the information includes the animal's name, while in another, it contains a photo of the animal. In another embodiment, the information includes the animal's health and/or treatment status. The information on the tag can be printed, sewn, or embroidered. It doesn't matter whether the tag is made of textile (leather or eco-leather is also possible), metallic, or plastic. The description of the Polish industrial design – Rp4984, as well as the accompanying illustrations, reveal a dog and cat bed in the shape of a shell, with a back wall and side walls that together form a sideboard. This is a sleeping bed for dogs and cats, made of materials characteristic of this design. The bed, called "shell" by the designer, has the following components: - a cushion, which constitutes the main part of the bed and also its interior. The cushion is slightly arched and made of short-pile cotton fabric, a type of plush, such as velvet or velour. The interior of the cushion is filled with silicone beads that adapt to the shape of your pet and prevent deformation. The underside of the cushion, matching the shape of the cushion, is made of codura – a waterproof fabric coated with a layer of PVC with high resistance to abrasion, tearing, scratching, and heavy loads. The front wall, formed into a slightly flattened cylinder, is approximately the same height as the cushion to which it is permanently attached. This wall is made of the same fabric as the cushion. The front wall forms a lowered entrance to the bed. The front panel has space for the manufacturer's logo or for embroidering the pet's name. It can also feature other decorative elements, such as a bow. The wall, which surrounds the back and sides of the cushion, is a side panel composed of seven sections (called sides by the designer). Besides its aesthetic value, it also serves a practical purpose, as it protects the pet inside from sliding off the cushion and acts as a natural barrier, separating it from the wall or furniture against which the bed would be placed. As the creator of the solution assures on his website, where he offers a product covered by the industrial design registration Rp4984 – "the natural shape of the shell invites all the "furry creatures" to cuddle up in it in the fetal position, favorite for pets to rest." The seven parts mentioned above, which form the wall surrounding the pillow (the side), are in fact 7 pillows, having the shape of a very elongated rectangle with slightly rounded corners, filled with filling material and intentionally slightly convex, permanently connected to each other by sewing. Each of these 7 pillows resembles the shape of the well-known and very popular in many countries of the world shortbread cookies or sponge cakes called "Cat's tongues", also known as "Langues de Chat". (in French), "Cat's Tongues" (in English). All 7 cushions are sewn in their lower part around the perimeter of the main cushion, which serves as a bed for the animal, and reach all the way to the bottom of this cushion, which is made of cordura material. The seven cushions are by no means uniform in height or width, but the highest of them is located in the center of the rear part of the bed, on both sides of it there are two slightly lower cushions, and then successively lower ones – so that when sewn together they create a shape resembling a shell. The wall surrounding the cushion is made of the same fabric as the cushion. Another bed, known from the description of industrial design Rp3495, is somewhat similar in shape and has the same functional qualities. It is designed as a sleeping bed for dogs and cats. It was sewn in a similar way to the above shell bed, meaning it also contains the same components (a cushion for the animal to lie on and a wall – the side). It is a hexagonal bed, with a cushion in the shape of a hexagon (a regular hexagon), and the wall surrounding this hexagonal cushion is formed by five rectangular cushions on both sides and at the back. A sixth cushion, sewn to the front of the bed, forms the front wall of the bed and differs from the other cushions in that it has a strongly arched cutout, providing a lowered entrance to the interior. In this case, both the cushion and the inner walls are made of a material—a Minky blanket. One alternative pet bed solution is a dog bed, designed especially for small and miniature breeds, intended for home use. This is known from the Polish industrial design description Rp3437 and the accompanying illustration. The bed consists of two elements: two sheets of fabric, filled with a soft filling material, likely cotton. This is an interesting and innovative solution because the bed visually resembles two rectangular quilts sewn together using a patchwork technique. However, the two elements in question constitute two parts of the bed: a top and a bottom, which are permanently connected at a certain point. The upper part of the bed is roughly cuboid in shape and features a series of stitching lines across its entire surface, deep enough to also serve as fold lines for the material. These stitching lines run both vertically and at various angles, thoughtfully and precisely dividing the material's surface into seven smaller triangle- and trapezoid-shaped sections. The underside, on the other hand, has a stylized cuboid shape, with a polygonal upper edge and also featuring a series of stitching lines on its surface, which also serve as fold lines for the material, dividing the material's surface into four smaller sections, each shaped like a large rectangle approximately square, and then into three irregular trapezoids. The design of this bed utilizes a principle similar to origami, meaning that thanks to these irregular stitching lines, running vertically and diagonally, both the top and bottom sections bend in precisely designed places. Folding completely flat sheets of material at the right angle along one of the stitching lines on the bottom allows you to create a bed structure that can be shaped into a spacious bed with walls at the back and sides, enveloping the pet and providing comfort and safety. This type of solution is undoubtedly very practical, especially when the owner takes their pet on a trip, as the packed bed takes up very little space in luggage, and after quickly unfolding and shaping, it provides the animal with a cozy bed. In addition to completely open beds for pets, there are also beds with a roof overhang – shaped like houses, kennels, or those resembling heavily built-up slippers. These are designed especially for timid small breed dogs, often seeking shelter, or for cats or rabbits. A common feature of these types of beds is that each has an open, but very limited entrance at the front (the animal must slip inside, as if entering a tree hole or tunnel, in which case it is important that the animal can freely enter and exit the bed). Furthermore, this type of bed always has a closed back, in the form of a back wall, as well as built-in sides and a vault, or "roof." Parts of the bed, such as the side walls or roof, can be permanently attached to the cushion or detachably connected – in this case, these parts are attached to the cushion with Velcro, allowing the roof or sides to be removed at any time. Each cushion has a soft filling and, like the other elements of the bed, is made of durable textile fabrics. Designers of these types of solutions, such as kennel-, house-, or tunnel-shaped pet beds, recognize that both dogs and cats naturally love to explore and hide, preferring to hide in small openings. Many such animals often seek out a hiding place, for example, during a storm or New Year's fireworks display, or when they feel pain, simply want to eat in peace, or gnaw on a bone. They then feel safe, comfortable, and satisfy their primary needs, provided with a cozy bed. These solutions are known, for example, from descriptions of Polish industrial designs – Rp3917 and Rp4371. Both designs feature beds designed for dogs, with the former offering a kennel-shaped bed, and the latter a tunnel-shaped bed. However, these solutions also have their drawbacks. Well, pets like dogs love to interact with all family members and should be able to freely observe household members while resting. However, such built-in beds prevent them from doing so. It's better, therefore, if the bed isn't so built-in. All of the popular beds discussed above can be quickly and easily cleaned with a damp cloth if they get dirty. Regardless, most popular beds have covers on the cushion and/or sides, which are easily removable thanks to a zipper and can be machine washed. However, popular beds lack sufficient protection to separate the cushion from the ground, i.e., the floor, the flooring, or even the earth (assuming that some owners take their pets out into the garden and set up beds for them there). The beds are simply placed directly on the ground, often in unhygienic conditions, which means the animal comes into direct contact with dust and dirt. The purpose of this utility model was to develop a solution that would meet the basic needs of pets, especially the needs of dogs of different breeds, and in particular to provide the animal with a completely separate space – its own territory, in which the animal would be guaranteed comfortable and safe rest on a stable, shock-absorbing and cosy surface of the bed, in the most optimal hygienic conditions, isolating the animal from the ground on which the bed is placed, while isolating it enough so that the animal does not have contact with the ground and is not directly exposed to dust, dirt or soil on the ground, and also so that the temperature and humidity of the ground do not affect the conditions of the bed, including the temperature and humidity of the part intended for the animal to lie down. The subject of the utility model is a bed for four-legged pets, especially dogs, being a type of open bed which has a cushion constituting its main part, adapted for the animal to lie on its surface, made of a soft material and filled with a shock-absorbing foam material, and also has walls which at least partially surround the cushion from the back and on both sides, creating the side of the bed, higher than the height of the cushion, and has a lowered entrance to the interior of the bed and has replaceable textile elements located both on the cushion and on the side, and also has a tag with any information material, attached to the front of the bed. In accordance with the design concept, the bed includes a base shaped like a cushion. The base is made of EVA foam (a copolymer of ethylene vinyl acetate; a closed-cell plastic material, highly flexible and easy to work with). The base of the bed, as designed, has a base and high edges around the base, with a recessed area designed to accommodate the bed cushion and the lower part of the bed's side. Furthermore, the base has a groove along its upper perimeter, which contains a Velcro fastener. This fastener secures the cushion and the side walls of the bed to the base. Furthermore, sections of Velcro fastener are located on the base's bottom surface to allow for easy attachment or removal of the bed cushion if necessary. The bed's cushion is slightly arched and made of memoform thermoelastic foam (memory foam), which acts as a cushioning material. It is also upholstered in any textile material, preferably eco-leather or a plush material, including velvet or velour. The underside of the cushion features Velcro tape, which secures it to the base of the bed. The bed's cushion is permanently stitched to the bed's side, forming a single cohesive element. The side is made of upholstery foam, upholstered in any textile material: eco-leather or a plush material, including velvet or velour, which does not exclude the possibility of using other materials, including waterproof fabric, lounger fabric, quilted fabrics, etc. Viewed from the front, the bed has an empty space above the base, instead of a front part of the side, constituting the entrance to the bed. Beneath this empty space on the bed's base is a display area designed for displaying any informational material, such as the manufacturer's logo, a photo, or the pet's name. The informational material is permanently attached, whether it's burned directly onto the foam base using a laser or ultrasound, or, for example, painted on. This doesn't rule out the possibility of using completely different techniques to display the information element – for example, such an information element can be placed on a piece of leather, any textile, plastic, metal, or even a piece of wood, and can be attached using Velcro, fasteners, magnetic material, hook-and-loop fasteners, snaps, hook-and-loop fasteners, or other elements for permanent attachment. By using the solution according to the utility model, a highly functional pet bed was created, especially for dogs, providing a separate space where the animal can rest comfortably and stress-free, feeling like it's its own territory. The material properties of the product, as defined in the utility model, ensure long-lasting, hygienic, and easy-to-maintain use. The EVA foam used for the bed's base is a highly flexible, easy-to-process, and lightweight plastic. It is an excellent thermoformable material, easily molded under heat, allowing for any shape. Therefore, the bed's base can be formed with virtually no shape limitations – so, in addition to traditional, familiar shapes, the base can also take the form of a flattened barrel or a horse's hoof, for example. Moreover, because EVA foam has excellent insulating properties against changes in the temperature of the surface it comes into contact with, making the bed base from this material ensures that the animal lying inside the bed will not feel changes in the ground temperature. For example, it will not feel cold from the floor. The bed base is anti-slip, making the bed stable and preventing it from turning or shifting when the animal jumps in. It also cushions the animal's jumps and subsequent movements within the bed area. Moreover, the EVA foam used in the bed's base does not deform and maintains its properties in varying, even highly variable, ambient temperatures, withstanding temperatures from -40°C to -75°C. This means that a bed with this base can also be used outdoors, in various weather conditions (both in summer, on hot days, and in winter, even directly in snow), and in various climate zones without losing its durability. EVA foam is also water-resistant and does not absorb water. It's also very easy to clean – dirt can be removed with a cloth dampened with water or household detergent. The bed's cushion is made of Memoform thermoelastic foam (also known as memory foam), a technologically advanced material made of soft, high-density polyurethane foam that conforms to the shape of the animal's body, making it very comfortable, even cozy, for the animal, and providing a stable sleeping surface. The bed's side is made of soft upholstery foam, covered with textile material, providing the animal with a comfortable and secure feel, and also undoubtedly guaranteeing its warmth. The cushion's upholstery is made of plush (velvet, velour), mica, eco-leather, felt, waterproof fabric, lounger fabric, or quilted Riviera fabric. The information is permanently placed in the display area; it can be embroidered or painted directly onto the base of the bed. This does not exclude the possibility of using other techniques for displaying the information element; for example, it can be placed on a piece of leather, any textile, plastic, metal, or even a piece of wood, and can be attached using Velcro, fasteners, magnetic material, hook-and-loop fasteners, snaps, hook-and-loop fasteners, or other means of permanent attachment. All textile parts of the bed, including both the cushion and the sewn-in walls that make up the side of the bed, are attached to the base with Velcro strips, making them easy to remove for cleaning of hair and/or dirt, and to replace. This is important for pet owners who want to be able to match the bed's design (its colors and patterns) to the interior of their apartment (house), their own preferences, or even their current mood, in order to improve their own well-being and also the well-being of their pet (who feels what humans feel). All materials used in the bed's construction, according to the utility model, are durable, strong, and pet-friendly, allowing for many years of use. The base 1 has a groove 7 around its circumference, equipped with fastening means in the form of a Velcro tape 8, arranged inside it. Furthermore, Velcro tapes 8 are located on the entire surface of the bottom 2 of the base 1, to enable easy attachment to them, or, if necessary, detachment from them, the cushion 5 of the bed L together with the side 6. The cushion 5 of the bed L has a round shape and is made of memoform thermoelastic foam (memory foam), which is a shock-absorbing material, and is upholstered with velvet. The upper surface of the cushion 5 is slightly raised. The entire underside of the cushion 5 features Velcro tape 8, which connects the cushion 5 to the bottom 2 of the base 1 of the L-bed. Regardless of this, the cushion 5 of the L-bed is permanently stitched to the side 6 of the L-bed, forming a single cohesive element. Using Velcro tape 8, the side 6 can be attached to the Velcro tapes located in the groove 7 along the perimeter of the base 1 of the L-bed. The side 6 of the L-bed is made of upholstery foam and covered with eco-leather. By placing side 6 of the L bed inside the base 1, side 6 sort of closes inside the cushion 5 of the L bed like, for example, the petals of a flower not yet fully bloomed - this creates a "cocoon" or nest effect that is cozy, pleasant, isolates the animal and helps soothe its sleep, or allows it to stay in a safe, fenced space. Therefore, this type of barrel bed is especially dedicated to puppies or dogs of small breeds (e.g. Chihuahua, Border Terrier, French Bulldog, Miniature Pinscher, Yorkshire Terrier, Miniature Poodle, Miniature Schnauzer, Maltese - original name: Maltanase mana or Dachshund). Viewed from the front, the L-bed has an empty space above its base 1, constituting the entrance 9 to the L-bed. Beneath the entrance 9 is a display area 10, intended for displaying any informational material, which in this case is the manufacturer's logo (not shown in the drawing), embroidered on a rectangular piece of leather and glued to the base 1 of the L-bed. The second form of the utility model has a base whose outline is formed by two geometric figures: a semicircle and a tangent trapezoid, resembling a horse's hoof. Similarly to the barrel-bed above, this L-bed also includes a base 11, made of EVA foam, but in this case formed in the shape of a horse's hoof. The bed L1 has a bottom 2 and high edges 3 and a deep recess 4, intended to accommodate a cushion 51 inside, the shape of which corresponds to the outline of the base 11 and the side 6. The base 11 has a groove 7 along its circumference, equipped with fastening means in the form of a Velcro tape 8. The cushion 51 and the side 6 surrounding the cushion 51 from the back and on both sides are attached to this Velcro tape 8. Furthermore, Velcro strips 8 are located on the entire surface of the bottom 2 of the base 11 to enable easy attachment to, or, if necessary, detachment from, the cushion 51 of the bed L1 and the side 6. The cushion 51 of the bed L1 is made of thermoplastic memoform foam (memory foam), which is a cushioning material, and is upholstered with velour. The upper surface of the cushion 51 is slightly convex. Meanwhile, the entire underside of the cushion 51 is equipped with Velcro strips 8, thanks to which the cushion 51 and the side are connected to the bottom 2 of the base 11 of the bed L1. Regardless, the cushion 51 of the L1 bed is permanently stitched to the side 6 of the L1 bed, forming a single cohesive element. The part of the side 6 that protrudes above the base curves outward and is made of upholstery foam covered with abrasion-resistant fabric. The hoof bed is particularly suitable for large dog breeds (e.g., Bernese Mountain Dogs, Saint Bernards, Great Danes, Newfoundlands, Labrador Retrievers, American Akitas, or Alaskan Malamutes), as well as medium-sized breeds (e.g., Terriers, Border Collies, Beagles, Cocker Spaniels, Collie-Scottish Shepherds, Shar Pei, Chow Chows, Doberman Pinschers, or German Shepherds). Viewed from the front, the L1 bed has an entrance 9 to the L1 bed above its base 11. Under the entrance 9 there is a display area 10, where there is an animal's name, not shown in the drawing, engraved with a laser directly on the foam constituting the base 11.
