Abstract
A bed (100) for pet animals is disclosed. The bed (100) comprises an open-topped housing (101) with a pet accessible entrance along a front side to facilitate the pet animal (120) entering and lying on a cushion (116). The bed (100) comprises a wooden slatted base (102), side walls (104 and 106), a front wall (110), and a rear wall (108), which are vertically extended from edges of the wooden slatted base (102) to form an opening area, and formed with a resilient material and a foam, wherein the resilient material is affixed using a fastener, e.g. a Velcro®. The bed (100) comprises springs (112) securely disposed on the base (102) in a pattern, thereby comfortably supporting the pet animal (120) when sitting on a cushion (116). The set of foams (114) are disposed on the springs (112) to provide cushioning and support the weight of the pet animal/dog.

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION The invention disclosed herein generally relates to beds for pet animals. More particularly, the present invention relates to a bed for pet animals, for example, dogs, configured to provide a comfortable and secure enclosure for pet animals, maintain a right combination with the interior view of the house, and simply manufacture in different sizes while providing durability, stylish design, and comfort for the pet animals.
BACKGROUND Pet beds are designed to be used by domestic pets such as dogs and cats. Specifically, the pet bed having a cushion and slipcover installed over a frame assembly providing cushion support, a suspension system for comfort, elevation preferred by pets, and the novel method of making the same. The slipcover converts the apparatus to an aesthetically pleasing article of furniture, suitable for any household environment. Additionally, the slipcover can be easily removed and cleaned.
Currently, numerous designs for pet beds exist in the market, but they typically sacrifice comfort for the animals and cleanliness. Most pet beds are easily destroyed by the pet animals since they are often made from non-durable materials and offer numerous projections which the pet animals may easily chew. Furthermore, the pet beds are look unpleasant and hideous when keep in a room having interior furniture.
A prior art, US 2011/0239946 Al of DAVE, discloses a method for fabricating pet beds that are uniform in shape that is cost effective and rapidly completed. A plug is wrapped in several layers of foam or padding. Each layer of foam is coupled to each other, and the plug is not coupled to any of the foam layers itself. However, above-mentioned prior art fails to disclose a pet bed designed with: a wooden slatted base, and the plurality of springs are securely disposed on the wooden slatted base, a set of foams is disposed on the plurality of springs and in that the pet bed having at least four legs extending downwardly from the wooden slatted base, thereby the four legs are configured to support the bed above the ground.
In the light of above-mentioned problems, there is a need for a bed for pet animals, for example, dogs, configured to provide a comfortable and secure enclosure for pet animals and in addition, could be durable, compactly stored and displayed in a fully assembled configuration.
Further, there is also a need for a bed for pet animals to maintain a right combination with the interior decor of the house and simply manufacture in different sizes while providing comfort, durability, and stylish design.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION The present invention discloses a bed for pet animals. The bed includes an open- topped housing comprising a base, a pair of side walls, a front wall, and a rear wall, vertically extended from edges of the base to form an opening area. The pair of side walls, front wall, and the rear wall are formed with a resilient material and a foam. A plurality of springs is securely disposed in a pattern, thereby comfortably supporting the pet animal when sitting on a cushion with springs beneath. The bed is configured to provide comfort for the pet animal when sitting on the cushion and enable to simply manufacture in different sizes while providing comfort, durability, and a stylish design. The bed is characterized by: the base is a wooden slatted base, and the plurality of springs are securely disposed on the wooden slatted base, a set of foams disposed on the plurality of springs to provide cushioning between the plurality of springs and a cushion, wherein the cushion is disposed on a top of the set of foams, and at least four legs extended downwardly from the wooden slatted base, wherein the four legs are configured to support the bed above the ground.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION Referring to FIGs. 1-2, a bed 100 used by a pet animal 120, for example, a dog in one embodiment is disclosed. In one embodiment, the bed 100 is configured to provide more comfort for the pet animal 120 while sleeping. In one embodiment, the bed 100 comprises an open-topped housing 101 with a pet accessible entrance along a front side to facilitate the pet animal 120 entering and lying on a cushion 116. In one embodiment, the bed 100 includes various dimensions based upon a particularly sized pet animal 120. Additionally, the bed 100 could be manufactured in a variety of attractive colors and patterns to match an existing home decor.
In one embodiment, the bed 100 comprises a wooden slatted base 102. In one embodiment, a pair of side walls (104 and 106), a front wall 110, and a rear wall 108 are vertically extended from edges of the wooden slatted base 102 to form an opening area, — wherein the pair of side walls (104 and 106), front wall 110, and the rear wall 108 are formed with a resilient material and a foam. In one embodiment, a plurality of springs 112 is securely disposed on the wooden slatted base 102 in a pattern, thereby comfortably supporting the pet animal 120 when sitting on a cushion 116 with springs 112 beneath. In one embodiment, the resilient material is removably affixed to the pair of side walls (104 and 106), front wall 110, and the rear wall 108 using a fastener. In one embodiment, the fastener could be, but not limited to, a Velcro® or a hook-and-loop fastener.
In one embodiment, a set of foams 114 are disposed on the plurality of springs 112 to provide cushioning between the springs 112 and the cushion 116, wherein the cushion 116 is disposed on a top of the set of foams 114. In one embodiment, at least four legs 122 are extended downwardly from the wooden slatted base 102, wherein the four legs 122 are configured to support the bed 100 above the ground. In one embodiment, the cushion 116 could be, but not limited to, a removable and washable pillow. In one embodiment, the cushion 116 could be removed for cleaning and machine wash. In one embodiment, the cushion 116 could be made with the pet's names or dog's name, which is embroidered, burned on or engraved on a sign. In one embodiment, the size of the cushion 116 could be varied according to the sizes of the bed 100.
Referring to FIGs. 4-6, perspective views of different sizes of the bed 100 in one embodiment is disclosed. In one embodiment, the beds 100 for pet animals, for example, dogs, are designed in different sizes and to maintain a right combination with the interior decor of the house. In one embodiment, the bed 100 could simply manufacture in different sizes while providing comfort, durability, and a stylish design. The bed 100 consists of a wooden slatted base 102 and springs 112 which help to provide the best support for the pet animal 120, for example, a dog.
In one embodiment, the bed 100 could be made in different textiles that match the colors and design of the home only the imagination sets limits. In one embodiment, the bed 100 could offer a lifetime warranty 1.e., dog lifetime. In an exemplary embodiment,

Referring to FIGs. 6-8, a front view of the bed 100 for the pet animal 120 in exemplary embodiments is disclosed. In one embodiment, the bed 100 could be designed with multiple dimensions asper the size of the pet animal 120. In an exemplary embodiment, the bed 100 has a length of about, but not limited to, 600 mm. In yet another exemplary embodiment, the bed 100 has a length of about, but not limited to, 800 mm. In yet another exemplary embodiment, the bed 100 has a length of about, but not limited to, 1000 mm. In some embodiments, the other dimensions of the bed 100 may vary to some extent depending on a number of factors, including the size of the dog. In one embodiment, the bed 100 could be made in multiple sizes, for example, small, medium and large sizes. In one embodiment, the bed 100 could be made in exactly the same textile and legs as the bed in the bedroom or the sofa in the living room.
In one embodiment, the bed 100 is further configured to receive at least any one mattress includes, but not limited to, a cooling top mattress, a pressure-relieving top mattress, and a latex or foam top mattress. In addition, different top mattresses could be purchased which are placed in the bed 100 depending on the dog's needs. In an exemplary embodiment, the cooling top mattress could be used with the bed 100 for the summer heat. In yet another exemplary embodiment, the pressure-relieving top mattress could be used with the bed 100 for the older dog or for the dog who is very active (hunter, police dog, etc.). In yet another exemplary embodiment, the latex or foam top mattress could be used with the bed 100 for daily use. In one embodiment, hygiene and maintenance could be maintained by washing most textiles on the dog bed 100. In some embodiments, the user or customer could buy a cover for placing on the bed 100 to protect it during periods when the pet animal or dog is in heat or if the dog is very dirty after walking. In some embodiments, extra legs could also be purchased to put on the customer’s own bed or a sofa.
