Thanks to U.S. Patent No. 5,617,793, a procedure for tamping five sleepers in two operations is known. First, two groups of two sleepers each are tamped, with no sleeper being tamped between them. This sleeper is tamped by a small machine in a subsequent operation, without raising the railway track. Other machines for tamping railway track with two tamping units arranged one behind the other in the longitudinal direction of the machine are known from U.S. Patent Nos. 5,379,700, 3,744,428, 4,224,874, 3,595,170 and 3,494,297. This clearly demonstrates that the substantial increase in productivity by simultaneously tamping a large number of sleepers has long been a key aspect of development. Many of these known proposals have never been implemented because the arrangement of two tamping units directly behind each other causes major technical problems. 10 According to the utility model, in a machine of the type mentioned in the introduction, both units for tamping two sleepers, used to simultaneously tamp four sleepers placed one behind the other, are arranged directly behind each other, between the unit for lifting the railway track and the next rail chassis in relation to the working direction, connected to the frame of the units, each unit for tamping two sleepers has its own drive for independent adjustment of their height and, the longitudinal guide supporting the second end of the frame of the units is movable with respect to the machine frame by means of the drive, and between the machine frame and the first end of the frame of the units, in the transverse direction of the machine, two supporting devices are arranged at a distance from each other, which are provided with a pressing member, adjustable in the vertical direction by means of the drive. At least one pickaxe for tamping two sleepers is arranged at a distance from each other, and the pickaxe is arranged at a distance from each other, and the pickaxe is provided with a pressing member, adjustable in the vertical direction by means of the drive. tamping is adjustable to the out-of-service position by means of a drive. Between the unit for lifting the railway track and the next rail chassis in the working direction, there is an auxiliary unit for lifting the railway track, provided with a drive for height adjustment. According to the utility model, the auxiliary unit for lifting the railway track is mounted on the frame of the units, between two units for tamping two sleepers. The frame of the units is adjustable in the transverse direction of the machine with respect to the machine frame by means of drives. 10. According to the utility model, two measuring axes connected to a reference system for reading the height of the railway track are arranged between the unit for lifting the railway track and the rail chassis next in the working direction. These axes can be rolled along the rail and are mounted on the unit's height-adjustable frame. This combination of features effectively solves the problems arising from the simultaneous tamping of several sleepers, so that the tamping result is comparable to any known tamping of two sleepers. High efficiency is also ensured by the possibility of continuous approach of the machine while the unit frame is moved relative to each other. The pressing device effectively prevents the unit frame from rising due to the rapid penetration of numerous tamping picks into the encrusted ballast. At the same time, the transversely movable frame of the units enables tangential adjustment of the units to the track curvature on a track curve.4 The subject of the utility model is shown in the drawing, in which Fig. 1 shows a side view of a machine for tamping a railway track, Figs. 2 to Fig. 4 show a side view of 5 units arranged one behind the other for tamping two sleepers, and Figs. 5 and 6 show details of the frame of the units. The machine for tamping a railway track 1_ shown in Fig. 1 is provided with a frame of units !3 connected to the units for tamping two sleepers 2_, which is movable with respect to the frame of the machine _5_ by means of a drive 4_. The machine frame _5 is rolled in the working direction 9_ on the rail chassis 1_ on the rails 8^ by means of the travel drive 6_. In the working cabin 1_0 there is a control device 1_1 for powering the tamping units 2_. The frame of the units 3_ is supported at the first rear end \2_ in relation to the working direction 9_ by means of the rail chassis 1_ on the track 8^, while the second end 13 is slidably mounted on the machine frame _5. For this purpose, a special longitudinal guide 14, 20 is provided, shown in more detail in Fig. 5. Between it and the tamping units 2_, an assembly 1S_ for lifting and positioning the railway track Q_ is mounted on the frame of the units 3^. Between it and the frame of the machine _5 there is also provided a support device 25 ±6_, described in more detail in Fig. 6, by means of which the lifting of the frame of the units _3 from the railway track as a result of the picks 3/7 of the tamping units _2 being quickly sunk into the ballast is effectively eliminated. As can be seen in Fig. 2, on the frame of the units 3^ on the rail 5 22, two tamping units 2_t are placed directly behind each other, which are used to simultaneously tamp two adjacent sleepers 1S_ and by means of their own height adjustment drive 19_ have their height 5 adjusted independently of each other. The front and rear tamping picks 11_ are adjustable by means of a drive unit 33 around a rotation axis ^4 running in the longitudinal direction of the machine from the shown tamping position to the shutdown position. Such an adjustment can be carried out as an alternative, but also only after the vertical adjustment of the tamping picks 17. Each tamping unit 2_ is provided with an infeed drive unit 2_0 and a vibration drive 2_1. Between the track lifting unit 1S_ and the rail chassis 1_ next in relation to the working direction 9_, there are two measuring axes Z4 that can be rolled on the rail 22_t, mounted on the frame of the units 3^ with the possibility of height adjustment, connected to the reference system 2_3, used for reading the height position of the railway track. As can be seen in Fig. 3, between the track lifting unit \^_ and the rail chassis 1_ next thereto, there is an auxiliary lifting unit 26 provided with a drive 2_5 for height adjustment, used for lifting the railway track 8_. The auxiliary lifting unit 2_6 is mounted in the middle between the two lifting units 2_ on the unit frame 3_. According to the shape shown in Fig. 4, the two tamping units 2_ are movable relative to the unit frame 2_ in the transverse direction of the machine by means of drives 27.6. As can be easily seen in the simplified cross-section in Fig. 5, in order to move the unit frame 3_ in the longitudinal direction of the machine, two longitudinal guides 2A_ arranged at a distance from each other are provided in the direction transverse to the railway track. They are connected to each other by means of a cross beam 2_8, which is mounted on the frame of the machine _5 and is movable in the transverse direction relative to it by means of a drive 35. The supporting device 16_ visible in fig. 6 has a pressing member 2_9 articulatedly mounted on the frame of the aggregates 3, which is pressed against the frame of the machine _5 by means of a drive 3_0 (see arrow 32). Thus, the pressing force 31 acting in the direction towards the railway track %_ is exerted on the frame of the aggregates 3_ in order to eliminate its lifting from the railway track 8^ in the area of the rail chassis 1_.
