The subject of the invention is the control system for the control device that introduces oxygen into the open hearth furnace. The control systems used so far for distribution devices introducing oxygen into open-hearth furnaces did not allow for automatic blocking of their operation in case of loss of control stimuli. The built-in safety elements did not guarantee the shutdown of the devices in the event of an emergency, and they also did not have an optical control system for their operation. The control system according to the invention completely eliminates these negative phenomena thanks to the connection of three valves, two of which direct the flow of oxygen and the third is an element regulating the amount of its flow and in the event of the disappearance of the control program or in the event of the failure of the working impulse of the actuators, it automatically cuts off the flow of oxygen to the working chamber of the furnace. According to which the compressed oxygen supplied from the manifold 5 to the regulating shut-off valve 1 goes to one of the two valves 2 introducing oxygen into the furnace. The valves are actuated by pneumatic actuators 3 which receive pulses from the furnace control 8 via solenoid valves 4. Factors The drive of the motors 3 is the compressed air introduced from the manifold 6 into the corresponding space of the cylinder by means of solenoid valves.
