Description
W kopalniach, kamieniolomach i sali¬ nach urabia sie skaly zapomoca robót strza¬ lowych. Jezeli do jednego otworu wiertni¬ czego potrzeba pewnej ilosci materjalu wy¬ buchowego, to przy zastosowaniu niniejsze¬ go wynalazku zmniejszyc mozna te ilosc materjalu wybuchowego w nastepujacy sposób, W otworze strzalowym umieszcza sie razem z materjalem wybuchowym wo¬ de. Ilosc wody zalezy od wysokosci temperatury wybuchu dane¬ go materjalu wybuchowego. PLIn mines, quarries and halls, rocks are cut by means of blasting. If a certain amount of explosive material is required for one borehole, the amount of explosive material can be reduced with the use of the present invention as follows: Water is placed in the blast hole with the explosive. At high explosion temperatures, water breaks down into its constituent parts: oxygen and hydrogen. Both of these gases can explode and act like an explosive. Mere water may be used for this, or with the body containing carbon. The water in a certain amount can be placed in a variety of ways in an arrow hole, such as, for example, in a cylindrical bag of greasy paper or cardboard. Water absorbers may also be used. Water may also be injected in tubes embedded in an explosive material, or in any other way. The amount of water depends on the height of the explosion temperature of the particular explosive. The water should be placed as deep as possible in front of and on the explosive, or between the individual cartridges. When using this method, the safety in mines will be greater, because there will be no so frequent explosions of gases and coal dust, as well as less choking and poisonous branches, because the remainder of the oxygen and hydrogen explosion is water .If a small amount of explosive is given to the blast hole, the air terminals will produce high-pressure water vapor, which acts on a soft scale like an explosive.
